At Future Biotech Winter Retreat 2019, we will address current developments in molecular biology and genetics with particular focus on genome structure, mechanisms of transcription and protein biosynthesis, genome editing, and gene therapy.

60−80 young researchers and entrepreneurs will join as participants selected by a strict committee, all are interested in biology, biotechnology and biomedicine — from the perspective of both science and commercialization.

Applicants please note our partnership with Biomolecula.ru, see below for details.

Please note, that we accept applications until 15 November 2018.

Thomas Steitz passed away on 9 October 2018. He was going to give a talk at the Retreat and he was really looking forward to meeting all of you. This is an irreplaceable loss for molecular biology. On behalf of the organising committee, we would like to offer our condolences to his family, colleagues and friends.

Beyond just a retreat
Beyond our core program we will organize a variety of evening events: round tables, communication sections, discussions in the bar and popular science master classes. Join our evening program: we will watch movies, socialize and learn more. The last night of the retreat, do not miss our closing party.
